The seance is the centerpiece event your guests will talk about for years. This script gives the host (or a designated medium) everything needed to lead a convincing, atmospheric, and entertaining table-rapping session.

Design Details

The script is structured in three acts. The first establishes the atmosphere and rules. The second builds tension through escalating “contact” attempts with planted sounds and flickering lights. The third delivers the climax (a successful spirit communication) and a controlled wind-down that releases the tension so guests leave the table entertained rather than unsettled. Stage directions appear in italics beside the dialogue so the medium can track their cues without losing their place.

Recruit a partner to handle lighting and sound cues from another room. A Bluetooth speaker playing subtle ambient sounds, controlled remotely, sells the experience. Practice the script once before the party so the delivery feels natural.
