Design Details
These signs were designed for outdoor visibility, which means bold type, high contrast, and minimal fine detail that would disappear at a distance or in fog. The color palette runs dark with white and amber text, ensuring legibility under porch lights, string lights, or blacklight. Each design includes a faux-aged texture (rust, stone, distressed wood) that helps the signs blend into a yard haunt rather than looking like freshly printed paper.
For weather resistance, print at a copy shop on vinyl banner material or heavy glossy stock, then laminate. For a DIY approach, print on cardstock and seal both sides with clear packing tape. Mount on wooden stakes, zip-tie to fence posts, or lean against tombstone props. Our yard haunt basics guide covers the full outdoor setup from layout to lighting.
